Markets UP nicely....Technician's nightmare ????

Markets are again defying daily prediction of technicians that markets are "ready to collapse"???

When markets do NOT listen to technician's "pay attention"......

Markets have been showing a much better TONE for the last 3 weeks.......

I think technicians are "ready to throw their SWEATY towels in the laundry & need to take a COLD shower to wake UP in a hurry to NEW REALITIES...technically speaking"

In my portfolio :

AGU.TO UP $1.65..getting close to all-time high only $1.44 away ( Toronto price... as Canadian $ is flying again today UP 1.33 cents so far)

CSIQ down 2 cents

CMED UP $1.11 to a fresh all-time high

GS down $2.57

LDK UP 14 cents ...reports AH..expecting good ER & guidance......I hope !!!

SOLF UP 19 cents

@ 11.17 AM the following are green on my watch list:

POT (new high),BUCY,NVDA,TSL,DELL,SNDK,FSLR,SPWR,VMW,
ICE,IGT(new high),CTRP,WYNN,LVS,NMX,VLO,ISRG,SNE,AMZN,
IFN,FWLT,RIMM,EZA,SNDA,FFIV.

    Hi Saleem,

    Visa IPO coming up. GS will bring it out in favorable market climate only. A good indicator.
    MA may suffer some selling pressure due to VISA. I was able to get MA at market price as it opened but sold too soon. Sold less than $100 shr. ARRGH!
    CMED too strong to sell. Enjoy the ride.

    Yes VISA IPO will be a vote of confidence for the market conditions.

    MA...as long as you made good money ..that is all that matters.

    CMED is looking very good...see where it closes today $$$$

    Ar eyou still think about buying BUCY?

    I sold some of AGU and DSX for a nice profit. Are you considering selling your AGU today?

    I still have 100 shares of AGU at $73.30.
    I am liking BUCY and PEW today. GS seems like a good buy today, too!
    My NYX can not find a bottom , Uggg!

    BUCY looking good.....once it goes to new high which is $2.50 away...it will fly imho

    Other stock I have not done any work...so do not know.

    Hi Saleem,
    I like your read on the tape today. After more bad news ie existing homes... if the market closes up, I think that will be very telling of a base forming. I was hoping to see some LDK buys going into ER but the day is not over. I hope to see a surge before the close or maybe no volume could mean that MM's know something we dont. Im just thinking aloud. Nothing to back up my thoughts in terms of data... I love your AGU and CMED today! I went ahead and bought ADM to see if it will climb to IH entry in the next couple of days. I sold BABY for a nice gain and repurchased it. I am LDK, CCC,CSX, BABY and ADM. I just liked the comments on the IH report that ADM had formed a longer double bottom w/ handle and it just seemed like a stock that hasn't broke out in the Ag space. We will see. Good luck and hoping for a green close.

    See.... as long as you keep booking profit and stay diversified.....

    You have a very good chance of achieving your goal.....

    You only have to be RIGHT 60% of the time.....rest one CAN wait.....

    Low volume in the last few sessions for LDK IS a good thing...

    Most seller have been gone for few days already......rest IS MM game plan.....

    I DO expect a GREEN close on LDK.

    Good luck on ADM.....IH & Doug are good for each other !!!

    I follow no more than 100 stocks and only 50 with close monitoring.

    I have to follow stocks for @ least few weeks then form an opinion.

    So have no opinion on ADM or the other stock.

    Yes...CMED & AGU both are looking good.

    Hi Saleem. We (the blog members) all appreciate your time, effort and great advice on the blog. Thank You! Can I give some constructive ( I Hope ) criticism? You seem to have a chip on your shoulder with analysts, technicians, CNBC etc. I totally agree with you. But, can we just stop focusing on this aspect and keep the eye on the prize - making money and helping people. I think all members now understand they manipulate (when they can), panic at other times. I really enjoy the positive aspect of your blog and that is the your strong point. Now that that is done, I have sure made a lot of coin on COIN. Nat Gas (UPL) and AG (DBA and MOO) has also made me a tidy sum as well. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    My comments about technicians especially...IS based on the fact that I do get DAILY email from www.schaeffers.com 3 times per day and they have been relentless on S&P breaking down even as of today...

    I do understand lot of BLOG readers follow IBD & Schaeffers...so I give my TAKE which is 100% opposite of what their PUSH is.......

    Why do I do this "technicians REBUTTAL"......because I am trying to give an "experienced take on any market conditions"

    I think it IS important to "understand market FIRST then go after stock picking"

    I do NOT think I am doing anything which is UNNECESSARY in my BLOG writeup....

    I do think some readers DO appreciate that technicians are driven by things which MAY NOT be relevant to my FOCUS...which IS to make everyone see BEYOND day to day shenanigan by VESTED interest.

    My text is always relevant to trading/investing.......

    Somebody HAS to stay AHEAD of the CURVE !!!!

    Man, great call again on market performance. I am totally serious when I tell you that I have been loading the boat, partially based on your read of the tape. This has proven to be a very successful strategy, deferring to your experience. I am happy to report that I am up on all stocks that I own except for LDK and we know I'm holding that long. Good solid day for you too. I am curious as to wether you took CMED off the table or stayed with it. AGU has room to go! Congrats. Its nice to have some promise for the BULLS!!!

    It is NOT easy to see CLEARLY ever...wall street always is a minefield...just need to TREAD with safety of strong & diversified portfolio.....no other SECRET !!!

    I bough CMED again as I believe that it will mopre higher from here.

    My target is $74 smackers.

    I still have several positions in the red. DSX, NYX and my solar plays

    The market is starting to come back hurray
