Economic Data is NOT as negative for markets !!!!

Markets are taking it on the chin in pre-market...thanks to another blowup in Carlyle Capital Group which is close to collapse........

None of the morning economic data points to recession......just an ongoing "slowdown"

I am expecting markets to gain footing going into close......

Pre-market showing :

Gold kissing $1,000

Oil UP again

All inverse UP sharply

Stocks down.....

I am sure Perma-Bears are very happy going into Open????


It will be an interesting close.....

    There was an article in the L.A. Times the other day that said the UCLA Business School is not predicting a resession.

    Saleem,
    I am considering keeping SDS on until S&P hits 1270 and then when it does, selling and immediately buying SPY. Would you give me your thoughts on this play? The only thing that worries me is that it seems to predictable to actually work. LOL.

    Hi Doug,

    Focus on making money..NOT in predicting markets....

    Lock profit when you have it...do it 10 times in a day....same things.

    I just booked profit in DUG & EGO & bought QQQQ...hint hint hint ....

    Saleem,
    thanks for getting me back focusing on day trading. Immediately after you responded to me I sold SDS and booked nice gain. Then it went down and I bought it again. I was not focused right and you really helped me to remember to trade!!!!!!!

    COIN is working as is RIMM-hurray

    LDK is up .30 cents

    My PWE is doing very well and pays 14%.
    the rest of my stuff is suffering
