Market gave back from 1.71% to 2.49% ????

Markets were given one major surprise......No TARP money for autos...a pre-packaged bankruptcy????

Market HATES surprise...a well known practice...so DOWN we went to 8527.41 on the DOW...BUT we closed @ 8604.99.....

POT WARNED about EPS well below previous guidance for 2008..citing bleak world economy now @ $10.75 from $12...

IPI also warned cutting sales in half....for Q4

RIMM & ORCL were the bright spot in ER both slightly higher AH......

In my portfolio :

Sold Half of HQU...

Sold HSU...

Sold HFU...

Bought more HMU

Bought URE my cost $6.26....

My portfolio is HOU.TO,HMU.TO,HQU.TO & URE.....

Option expiry is on Friday......some of the selling was due to OE also......

To say the least...Today's tape was a big NEGATIVE.....
