Thought I would ask you what your thoughts would be on this. I was thinking of buying long GE and writing out of the money calls on it. I don't see much down side from here, can't see GE going to zero either.
I like GE here--it is however a LT hold If patient this could be a triple !!!! As for calls dunno what is the best thing to do in this market you could miss some of the recovery with a covered call - but you do get the DIVI.
Look at DSX and FRO --FRO pays a great DIVI and when oil demand returns FRO will be a triple Just a thought. Good luck and let us know your decision

ReplyDeleteGE @ $8.51 or $8.49 AH is an incredible buy.....if you have a 2 year horizon..it could be the buy of century.
I would suggest writing call when GE is above $10.....as I feel that GE current price is an overreaction to dividend cut.
@ 40 cents dividend per year still is 4.7%...not shabby @ all....
