Indices closed down......

All Indices closed down....

Reason for negative TAPE for 3 days is "overbought condition","profit taking for year end" & "Option Expiry"

Generally when TAPE is negative for 3 day's,technical rebound is to be expected.

Internals of the market were as follows :

Down volume led by 3 to 1 in NYSE & 2 to 1 in Nasdaq
Declining stocks led by 19 to 10 in NYSE & 15 to 10 in Nasdaq

These are NOT extremely negative numbers, BUT in a bull market ,it may be enough to get a technical rebound....

Many stocks have come down substantially in the last 3 day's,so buying on weakness may not be a bad idea.

In my portfolio :

Sold BIDU

Sold 40% JKS

Portfolio is FFIV,JKS,SOL,RVBD,AUY,AAPL,AMZN......

  2. Hi Madmax,

When CEO is projecting "slower growth in Sales & EPS"in 2011..it is a MAJOR shift.

Good luck with your strategy with BIDU.

  6. Saleem, Max -

Take a look @ MSB. It's getting hammered on a IBD article. Might be a good time to take a position. What do you think??

  7. Hi Madmax,

Few suggestion for news in your portfolio IF you have not done it.

Set up your portfolio in yahoo finance..it ask for # of share ,price paid & date purchased...you can skip all this info just list your stocks....it will give you all the news 24/7 in that page.

Second in your brokerage account there is an "ALERT" feature..list all your stocks in it..it sends you email alert whole day based on your settings.

Set up your portfolio in Google finance & it will give you all the news in that page.

I have all these set up and get alerts in my email whole day plus read news in yahoo & google ONLY about my portfolio.

You can access all three from your PC & smartphone no matter where you are.

    Hope it helps.
