Indices closed down .07% to .39%.....

Indices closed near high of the day.

 S&P 500 @ 1693.87, low 1680.34

 RSI @ 53.66

 CMF @ 0.123

 Internals were :

 UP volume led by 1.34 to 1 in NYSE & .99 to 1 in Nasdaq

 Advancing stocks led by .79 to 1 in NYSE & .65 to 1 in Nasdaq

 Net new 52 wk highs were leading by 79 in NYSE & 137 in Nasdaq

 VIX UP 6.82% @ 1680.34

 Oil @ $104.10

 Gold @ $1320.70

 AH Futures Down

 AH Asian Markets UP

 AH Oil & Gold Down

 About market, S&P 500 closed @ absolute high of the day, this sums up the strength of this bull market despite shutdown & no agreement on raising debt limit. This TAPE action would have been "fictional" in past years. I have a feeling that this TAPE is looking well beyond November 1st which is how long these politicians wants to take before using their brain.Make sure you are buying strong stocks when we open weak which is a daily routine.

    I do think TSLA looks interesting here at least for a bounce. Good patience and pick!

    I'd add to RALY here if I wasn't at max exposure already. It bounced right off the 50 DMA today.

    I had to do a toss up with Z & TSLA...but TSLA won on historical RSI read for last 5 months.

    YES RALY is getting ready for a move off 50 DMA....
