Indices closed UP .41% to .62%.....NICE !!!!

Indices closed near high of the day on progress made in Senate.

 S&P 500 @ 1710.14, high 1711.03

 RSI @ 58.72

 CMF @ 0.074

 Internals were :

 UP volume led by 2.07 to 1 in NYSE & 2.46 to 1 in Nasdaq

 Advancing stocks led by 1.39 to 1 in NYSE & 1.63 to 1 in Nasdaq

 Net new 52 wk highs were leading by 160 in NYSE & 174 in Nasdaq

 VIX UP 2.23% @ 16.07

 Oil @ $102.41

 Gold $1276.60

 Stocks which were UP 1% or more included AMCC MU
CLDX TRIP GMCR NFLX DNKN CSIQ SPWR
RVBD CRUS SNDK CIEN KORS X STLD
WLT RALY YELP....

 AH Futures UP

 AH Asian Markets Mixed

 AH Oil & Gold Down

 About market, TAPE responded positively to new progress being made in Senate to resolve shutdown & Debt limit. House may show its usual by changing anything passed by Senate, expect killing time till Thursday deadline. In the meantime TAPE may make new highs & we may see sell the news "because its priced in by the time everything is passed".....

    This process hurts buying everything back at higher prices, but necessary.

    Hey Saleem,

    Yes. I didn't want all that research to go to waste for earnings upcoming.

    I'm stuck on what to do with X. I really like that one from an earnings perspective also, but it's trickier to buy here.

    Bought FB @ 50.68.

    Still thinking about what to do with X...

    Also under consideration is a repurchase of LCC, but the chart is a bit squishy right now, especially on the MACD. I think maybe people are getting scared about earnings considering a material chunk of airline travel is stopped right now.
