LULU is reporting the following for Q4 :
Sales actual $521 Million expectations were $511 Million a beat by $10 million
EPS actual 75 cents expectations were 72 cents a beat by 3 cents
Q1 guidance $377 to $382 million expectations were $389.4 million a miss by $9.9 million on Sales..
Q1 EPS guidance 31 to 33 cents expectations were 38 cents a miss by 6 cents......
LULU may be practicing UPOD & may beat this lowered guidance....
LULU stock in pre market Bid $47.70 Ask $47.99....closed @ $48.23.......

ReplyDeleteI can't believe gold hasn't done better in the last two weeks with all the Ukraine problems, and the market extreme volatility, and the dollar flat/weak. How do you think gold will react if the market turns around? or are you thinking things get worse here and gold will finally start to see some better safe haven flows?

ReplyDeleteI have a view that after finding support here & maybe today...Gold will stage an oversold bounce.....
Secondly, there is tremendous demand of Gold as an asset class in China & India which will push Gold higher....
Third & most important point IF interest rate move UP as per Fed's plan then Bond will suffer & that group may allocate Gold as 10% of their asset.
SO..all 3 scenarios points to higher Gold prices from here...i will always have Gold exposure...just in case.....
There has been moment in history when Gold & Equities moved strongly together...First Iraq war did this.....
