Indices down .30% to .46%......

Indices are lower and near low of the day as oil hits new low again.

 S&P 500 @ 2070.48, low 2068.24, high 2085.58

 Internals are negative

 Oil Down $1.22

 Gold Down $19.90

 Canadian $ Down 13 tick @ 83.77

 VIX UP 17.02% @ 18.63

 Portfolio AKS BBRY EGO GPRO MU NXPI TSL

 Most stocks are down

 @ 2.21 following are green by 1% :

    Hey Saleem,

    It is not easy to identify a chemical company that benefits greatly from low natural gas prices. Many of them are forced to lower the prices of their chemicals too, so they aren't benefiting as much as I'd like. Do you have any ideas on low nat gas plays? I think it could get under $2 in the spring.

    Hi Stocktrader,

    there are many Nat gas plays in Canada, most famous is ECA which trades in NYSE.

    Others are in Toronto only like Tourmaline TOU.TO which is high beta..you can get this with US funds discounted by almost 16.5%...last trade CAD $38.56....

    Many junior plays in Toronto but i will not recommend them....

    Hi Stocktrader,

    IF you believe that $2 gas is reality, then all natural gas producers are vulnerable to sharp slump.

    I don't follow this sector except Nat gas prices.

    I almost bought WLK right at close, but thought it better just to do my homework first. I imagine I will end up buying a chemical company though to invest with my low nat gas thesis--I just have to find the right one.
