Indices closed mixed.

 S&P 500 @ 2640.00, low 2631.05, high 2650.93

 RSI @ 55.53

 CMF @ 0.362

 Internals were:

 UP volume led by 1.53 to 1 in NYSE & 2.16 to 1 in Nasdaq

 Advancing stocks led by 1.42 to 1 in NYSE & .81 to 1 in Nasdaq

 Net new 52 wk highs were leading by 42 in NYSE & 7 in Nasdaq

 VIX UP 1.38% @ 19.13

 Oil @ $53.31

 Gold @ $1315.20

 AH news...  AMD UP 9.25%, AAPL UP 5.51%

                      EGHT Down 7.82%, MSTR Down 5.98%

 AH Futures UP

 AH Asian Markets Mixed

 AH Oil Down

 AH Gold UP

 About market, TAPE struggled whole day, by close only DOW was UP. After hour earnings from AMD & AAPL although below consensus are greeted positively as they were not as bad as expected, this should get technology back to positive momentum.

    Both of these were to take profits, and I get a feeling like value stocks will outperform in the nearer term.

    Good moves in booking profits and thinking about new and better strategy.....

    2 PM is take off time for markets...thus my switch from IQ to TWTR.....also FB should report more than acceptable numbers which may benefit TWTR AH....

    My suspicion is that the Fed will talk hawkishly compared to expectations--another reason for my paring back of exposure. It's easy enough to re-allocate if needed.
