Advancing stocks led by 1.37 to 1 in NYSE & 1.28 to 1 in Nasdaq
Net new highs were leading by 12 in NYSE & lows by 36 in Nasdaq
VIX UP .46% @ 21.98
Oil @ $71.47
Gold @ $2748.50
Canadian $ @ .6098
In my portfolio bought BTCC.TO @ $12.58

It was a pullback week for the portfolio and the markets as election jitters and the impact of higher interest rates kept buyers sidelined. I reduced some of my multi-month short positioning and added a few names. Once we get past the election and Fed meeting, it should come down to the individual companies' reports that make a difference, and the market has shown extreme resilience in the face of uncertainty already. I plan to have all my TZA sold by tomorrow, although I don't think I'll have fully allocated the cash yet, which leaves room for opportunity in coming weeks.

DeleteYes..my recovery has speeded UP today, feeling 80%....took lot of doing to get well.
SMCI has created its own problems which IS not a good corporate strategy.....BUT we are traders and try to make money whenever its possible.
I am also stuck with my original purchase which I averaged down once....
BUT I have traded SMCI and made money before my health issue, that was the day before Auditor's quitting.....
Very difficult to give any guidance about SMCI....
