It was a rough week for the portfolio as many tech and energy stocks got crushed in the aftermath of the DeepSeek announcement. The overall market only pulled back modestly, however, as other sectors saw some buying interest. I think the greater takeaway is that there was/is a lot of hot money in some stocks, and there might be more vulnerability going forward still, especially as we aren't sure the next generation of winners yet. I have cleansed my portfolio of many of these stocks as I await further information and have a bit of cash for opportunities. The first few weeks of February will see many of my portfolio/watchlist companies report, and I am eagerly awaiting...

I don't think any of the medium/long term Trump-administration actions are clear at this point, however.
