US stock market getting " deeply overbought "

US stock market goes UP then goes down...

US stock market makes new all time highs followed by testing support...

That IS the nature of our market......

One has to be mindful of " trading range "

You do NOT have to predict exact highs or lows....BUT be aware of this trading scenario...

I do not have to tell anyone where we are in this " trading fulcrum "

YES...there is a trading phenomenon know as " overbought ".....always monitor this to book profit....

Here is my last week :

Last week UP 8.14%

YTD         UP 22.46%

Here is my weighting on 50% exposure :

UBER       17.95%

  1. Hi Saleem,

I found MGNI on Friday, but was busy with other activities to actually decide which stock to sell to pick it up. Missed a good run... :(

  5. Hi Saleem,

Great week and year for you - way to close out the 1st half!!

    Last week: +12.81% (YTD: -8.24%)
Portfolio Leaders: AVAV RZLV PONY FEIM UPST SNAP CVCO SSYS
    Portfolio Laggards: FATN

It was a big week for the portfolio as many names performed well and some were even more standout (AVAV & RZLV >40% gains) as the markets cruised higher with little resistance. It feels like we are due for a pause but there's really not much to stand in the way as the economy seems to just be moving forward steadily and the policies of the administration aren't impeding the way of progress for now. I look forward to the earnings season and expect companies to strike a better tone than last quarter and that may give us another up leg. I worry about new stock supply as IPOs are definitely heating up and the extended nature of many "hot" stocks flash warning signs. I think taking profits when stocks have an outsized bump is a good idea to protect and rotate.
