S&P 500 closed @ 1400.38 !!!!
S&P 500 closed @ 1400.38 above key resistance level.......
NASDAQ was the strongest index UP 14.34......
Solar stocks came back after German subsidy reduction was less than feared.....
AH SOL announced 8.1 million share secondary offering which will increase TOS by 13.6%..a small dilution...SOL down $1.58 from close.... erasing most of its RUNUP today....
In my portfolio :
AAPL rating 55/75 target $203.68
RIMM rating 45/80 rated for a "breakout" @ $143.78 for a target of $159.60
SOL NO TA......AH tape after secondary offering may RETEST its LOW from Thursday in Monday's trading.....

Solar is getting TRACTION & ATTENTION as German changes in subsidy are minor tweaks till 2010.....
US$ is strong today...I have been betting for US$ strength against Canadian $ for several months..for most part it has worked as I converted near TOP of Canadian $ strength which was $1.10 now it is $1.0064 today..in other words US 1.0064 required to buy 1 Canadian $....

Markets ended green...Internals Strong !!!!
Markets ended green all over and internals were leading higher....
New Highs led on both NYSE & NASDAQ.....
Solar took it on the chin "big time" after report of reduction in German subsidies.....
European Solar stocks also got downgraded including Q-Cell......
In my portfolio :
AAPL rating 45/80 target $203.94
RIMM rating 55/50 ratef for a "breakout" @ $143.90 for a target of $158.90
SOL...No TA....Slumped 11.34% after showing relative strength earlier in AM....
Strong stocks were SOHU,MA,V,QLD,LULU,DUG,GS,ISRG,GOOG,NYX,
ICE,GRMN,VMW,SINA......
AH MRVL blew away estimates and guiding HIGHER
AH DELL operating margin improved stock HIGHER

Oil data bullish ..but Oil going down..good for Stocks !!!
Oil data came in bullish with a bigger draw down and flattish refinery utilization....all bullish for Oil.....but surprisingly Oil is going down......Has Oil peaked????

Solar stocks are taking a beating as Merrill Lynch gave a sell to ESLR & SPWR due to expected reduction in German subsidies......

Sold PMCS & booked a gain of 20 cents per share.....
Bought 66% more SOL..my cost went down to $26.95....
My portfolio is AAPL,RIMM,SOL......only 3 stocks ....a change in strategy of more concentrated position...let us see how this works out !!!!
