Markets are hesitant before the result of Fed auction of SIV/ABCP.......
Nasdaq is the weakest of all indices.........
LDK is "the-superstar in my show UP $12.54".....on removal of inventory issue by an independent audit.
LDK reports Q3 ER AH on wed....I expect LDK to beat estimate & also guide higher for Q4...which has only 14 days left.......
I expect LDK stock price to go to new all-time high on these expectations $$$$
Most solar stocks are down today on profit taking........
In my portfolio :
LDK UP $12.54 on extremely heavy 8.46 million volume in 97 minutes......
AGU is UP 38 cents .......
AAPL is down $1.59......
RIMM is down $2.58....
Hoku is down 42 cents....
ESLR down 88 cents......

ReplyDeleteSure was glad I had LDK in my portfolio (now 19%), as my other stocks got CRUSHED!
What looked to be a very very promising day, based on pre-market activity, turned out be BLOOD RED!
Due to my LDK holding (thank g-d), my portfolio was only down 1.73%. Without the gain in LDK, I would have been down almost 5% today!!
Disasters in my portfolio:
AAPL - down 3.15%
BIDU - down 9.4%
FRPT - down 12.99%
FSLR - down 7.92%
HOKU - down 6.11%
JEC - down 5.42%
VMW - down 6.11%
Not pretty but tommorrow is another day.
