IBM is giving a helping hand to the markets and multi-national in particular....by announcing strong ER & higher guidance.......
IBM was expected to report Thursday after close......
Why IBM did that.......
Because IBM was also "sick & tired of all the negativity by analyst & pundits about its stock & its current prospect"
On Jan 7 IBM was downgraded by UBS to "neutral".....
IBM is fully aware of GS focus on "shorting the mother out of all stocks"
GS needs to pull their "pants UP a bit today...as they stand exposed to the investing crowd"
GS is setting the direction of the markets .....down..down & down......
I am so happy that GS will record their first "major strategy loss today"
As I always believe that "markets CAN spring a major surprise on you anytime.......both UP & Down.
So it is WISE to "stay in the market with your own comfort level"
Most of the market GAINS are made in few days....so if you are trying to "time the markets...you will be fighting an uphill task of making serious $$$$"
CONVICTION in your stocks is "what is most important"
Think 2009 estimates now........
Stocks PE will be marked UP towards 2009 estimates...by end of 2008 !!!!!
Investing/trading is a lifelong objective....NOT 10 minutes of "rolling the dice"

My heartfelt condolence to GS for @ least a $billion loss today......as they will be stopped out of all their short positions......8% loss on entire market is a "stunning loss"

LDK is extremely volatile...it is trading below 50DMA right now...BUT it can spring back as quickly also....
I am NOT concerned.
No there is NO news.....just more sellers than buyers or MM wants it cheaper for somebody....which CAN be arranged without any problem ...
