Market gave back from 3.95% to 5.53% @ close

Market sold off on election results and focus went back to economy & jobs.....

ADP data was very negative in terms of job loss......

Today's sharp selling was also triggered by big gains in the last few weeks.....

Market MAY find its footing Thursday...after sharp selling today......

CSCO as expected had bad ER......but stocks sold off further in AH.....sounds like panic selling IS @ peak.....CSCO ER was not expected to be good..but Techs & other stocks were selling sharply LOWER in AH.....

Futures are as follows after factoring fair value :

Dow Down 49.27

S&P 500 Down 4.17

NASDAQ Down 23.73

Solar stocks took a beating down close to 20%.....

BLOG does NOT give buy or sell.

  1. Hi Saleem,

Did someone just wake up and realize stocks needed to be sold? It was a nice 1600 point run up to the election, now some profit taking. I do wish the big players would stop this mass dumping of shares tho. It gets discouraging to small time investors. Only down 200 for the week so far? Not bad!

    Best Regards

    Have a great week.

  2. Hi Standards,

This volatility is killing investors/traders confidence big time.....

They could take down 2% in a day instead of 5.53%???

    Hoping for a green thursday!!!

  7. Hi All,

ATL gas $2.08 and dropping. Traffic miserable again. Long lines and grid lock. Yuk! People back to their old habits. What happened to the oil shortage as reported by the puppets on the financial media networks? Drivers burning fuel like there's no tomorrow.

    Have a great day
