BLOG suspended for @ least 1 week...

My health issues are forcing me to suspend BLOG updates for @ least one week.

My Doctor is back from vacation Tomorrow AM....

I MAY have to go through battery of test & hospital procedures....

In case you are wondering about my own diagnosis......it seems that I have infection in my digestive track....this has gone on for 3 weeks.......

Please pray for me and hoping that your best wishes will get me a full & speedy recovery....

    Hi All,

    A buy program kicked into high gear at 8:30 this morning pushing the Dow up +100 points within an hour. Now it has leveled off and is beginning to decline as additional follow thru is not happening.

    The shipping stocks are firing up today. Do you think it is good time to jump in stocks like DSX, GNK,... or need to wait for better entry point?

    Hi Michael,

    Lots of window dressing going on at end of month of Sep. I'm not looking forward to Oct as it could be challenging. Shippers are under pressure and you could possibly pick them up much cheaper within 30 days.
    Keeping my powder dry for now, waiting for a better entry point.

    Hi All,

    Huge futures sell off just before open today, then a steady gradual climb back to even, but the futures began trailing off again towards the close. Keep an eye on the overseas markets overnight for clues. Most are starting to turn negative.

    Hi All,

    Another day of selling, no buyers to step in this time. The herd has changed directions. Normally a correction has 3 stages. Until the herd changes back to bullishness there is no reason to buy. If you are determined to pick up bargains, sell puts at a lower strike price. You will collect the premium and maybe get the stock put to you at your price.
