S&P closed UP again @ 1404.17.......NICE !!!!

Indices stayed pretty close to break even line whole day. By close Dow & Nasdaq were down slightly & S&P 500 continued its march HIGHER.

S&P 500 closed @ 1404.17.

Oil closed @ $107.24

Gold closed @ $1659.60

Canadian $ closed @ 100.82

VIX crashed again, down 6.16% @ 14.47 , very good sign for future equity prices.

Portfolio is AMZN,CNQ,LEN,MS,OTEX,RIMM,RVBD

Stocks which were UP 2% or more included CNQ,RIMM,
PCLN,TCK,MOS,TSL,KOG,AGU.....

    MS - 9.7%
    DOW - 9.3%
    RVBD - 9.2%

    MET - 9.0%
    APKT - 9.0%
    FCX - 8.8%
    FXCM - 8.6%
    PMTC - 7.4%
    GHDX - 7.2%
    APWC - 2.1%
    (cash) - 0.3%

    I'm feeling pretty well diversified in what seems to be a grinding higher market. Stock picking is obviously key and I caught some good gains this week, specifically in CLF, FXCM, and MS. Hopefully next week we'll see more of the same.

    YES...market is in "bull mode"....nice to be exposed in this market.

    Even my dogs are showing PULSE.....

    Hi C,

    I have NEVER been stuck with so many DOGS...EVER

    I thought RIMM will take time & was prepared for it..BUT NOT AMZN,CNQ,RVBD,OTEX......BUT made a decision NOT to sell or switch.....paid a very heavy price..so far.....

    Your shipper & AAPL did well...i have only LEN to thank so far since Mid January...not a good picture.

    Only consolation is ....i traded like crazy until mid Jan 2012..that is keeping me above water.....

    Let us see IF mid March & forward bring chnage in my fortune....
