Indices closed mixed.....

Indices were mixed @ close, from +.02% to - 0.18%

S&P 500 closed @ 1403.93

 RSI @ 63.64

 Internals were :

 Down volume led by 1.19 to 1 in NYSE & 1.77 to 1 in Nasdaq

 Declining stocks led by 1.03 to 1in NYSE & 1.63 to 1 in Nasdaq

 New 52 wk highs led by 100 in NYSE & 15 in Nasdaq

 VIX UP 8.39% @ 14.85

Oil closed @ $93.43

Gold closed @ $1602.40

Stocks which were UP 1% or more included NTES,JCP,
CMG,KORS,TIF,GOOG,V,ARNA,MFC,ECA,IBN.....

AH Futures Down

AH Asian Markets UP

AH Gold UP

AH Oil Down

About market, close has been impressive on a daily basis, which cannot be ignored. TAPE is digesting its gains by sideways movement. I personally believe that, longer the sideways action,
bigger move UP is imminent. Base building for a higher move cannot be discounted.

    Hey Saleem,

    Bought my PANW back at 58.6299 and bought some TZA at 17.70. I think I'm going to try the long stock short index strategy again. I like my individual stocks too much.

    The word "dive" denotes @ least 5% down......

    Pre-market is never a good way to know the "real direction"......

    Quite a reversal for PANW--I'm glad I had a plan that worked for a change.

    Big earnings tonight from CSCO, NTAP, and AMAT.

    Hi Stocktrader,

    It is extremely hard to know, when any stock has reached its potential gains...but we should be happy in booking gains...as reverse can happen also.

    I think that CSCO ER maybe a non-event...in-line & guidance in-line...estimates have come down enough.

    5% --that was my bad--I love it when I learn stuff
    When I am wrong and learn what I did I had better not ever make the same mistake twice --so says the Sarge
