Indices closed UP .15% to .59%....NICE !!!!

Indices braved uncertainty of election & gave a confident picture by close.

 S&P 500 closed @ 1417.26

 RSI @ 43.59

 CMF -0.112

 Internals were :

 UP volume led by 1.17 to 1 in NYSE & 2.47 to 1 in Nasdaq

 Advancing stocks led by 1.06 to 1 in NYSE & 1.51 to 1 in Nasdaq

 Net new 52 wk highs were leading in NYSE by 31, lows were leading by 4 in Nasdaq

 VIX closed UP 4.72% @ 18.42

 Oil closed @ $85.65

 Gold closed @ $1683.20

 Stocks which closed UP included AMZN,PANW,RVBD,
LNKD,LEN,YHOO,CMG,DNKN,EXPE,NFLX,FFIV,
CRUS,SNDK,AEM,LULU,M,AAPL,RIMM,COH,LRCX,

 About market, based on TAPE today, indices are giving a verdict on economy which IS improving & no matter who is elected on Tuesday does not matter as far as economy is concerned. It was important to see leadership in Nasdaq, the future of many new things to come.

    Hey Saleem,

    Sold GHDX at 32.251. I've been disturbed by the price action for a while and I just don't want to be in for the earnings tomorrow. I've read articles about competitive concerns also and putting the whole picture together, I am not comfortable in the name.

    Market is up nicely on the election day. I think it already decided who is the winner.

    RVBD is still in intensive care. However, I think it might find the bottom. AAPL needs a firm footing before moving higher. BIDU is good at this price.

    Hi Stocktrader,

    I looked under YHOO industry competitor...there is no pure play in US or Canada which is big enough..FCX & TCK has copper as major focus....

    I guess SCCO is it....

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for your note on few stocks of our interest.....

    AAPL..there is a fear that best days are behind.....no matter what they announce, there is no bounce as traders are selling into strength.

    RVBD has become arbitrage play..short RVBD & long OPNT what they are buying...this malaise may last a while.....

    BIDU is alive now.....
