About market, TAPE was very strong & closed @ high of the day. Chinese Flash PMI for May came in @ 49.7% vs 48.1% for April, this is the best activity level in 5 months. I am expecting a strong day for Thursday, we may see new all time high in S&P 500 & may be Dow also.
BLOG does NOT give buy or sell.

Hey Saleem,
ReplyDeleteSold SPLK @ 44.523 while gone briefly this morning.
If CRM drop sharply after beating on all metrics, I can't see how SPLK will do anything when it reports next week.

Hi Stocktrader,
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your Rethink.

Hey Saleem,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a horrible idea so far. Almost all the cloud/internet stocks are moving nicely higher this morning.
Stocktrader
Hi Stocktrader,
ReplyDeleteSooner or later everything recovers from high volume selling.

Hey Saleem,
ReplyDeleteI have felt so foolish so many times this year--it's been quite humbling. I'm lucky to be only down ~5% after that +66% last year. I haven't been hurt much by all these missteps.
Stocktrader
Hi Stocktrader,
ReplyDeleteTake today as the first day of this year.....
Lot of stocks are screaming buy..
Saleem

Hey Saleem,
ReplyDeleteThe biggest of the mistakes was selling YELP (which was one of the last I sold). Even though I was afraid the market might treat them poorly, and I feel there's a low probability of takeover, the business they have is worth more than $4B eventually, and the opportunity for competition to substantially take business is pretty much over--they have dominated the market now and should only gain strength and recognition over time.
This is definitely where my next investment will be should I get a chance again.
Stocktrader
Hi Stocktrader,
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your Next move in YELP.
Saleem
Hey Saleem,
ReplyDeleteThese moves are absolutely crazy--look at CRM today.
Stocktrader
