About market, TAPE was strong again and closed near high of the day, All indices are technically strong with S&P 500 close to all time highs.Internals were strong and all positive. Oil staged a very impressive rally which helped indices. Some Fed officials are backtracking their enthusiasm for June hike, this is a known pattern, create panic, then backtrack.

ReplyDeleteUgh. A last minute morning errand really messed up my re-allocation plans. I went through with them anyways despite prices having run away from me in both direction:
Sold DAL @ 42.46
Although I don't think DAL is overvalued, I don't think it's undervalued either. Increased airplane supply and higher oil prices probably puts a lid on profits despite nice shareholder friendly actions.
Bought AVAV @ 28.60
Getting back to some small cap names, this company is at the center of multiple emerging trends including unmanned aircraft and electric charging stations. It is a speculative position size for now but the chart looks good for rise from here.

ReplyDeleteAdded to FIT @ 14.53 to get it a little more towards normal position size (still not there) after selling DAL this morning and not allocating all those funds towards AVAV.
