All indices below 50 DMA.......
Technically markets are struggling .....UP 200 Down 250......
All indices are selling off with tremendous velocity......
Major retracement in most stocks.....
VIX went UP 23.95% today...a sign of fear to the extremes...you know what happens when we reach extreme levels of FEAR or GREED...it reverses in a hurry.....

Dow fighting back to regain 50 DMA????
Indices went below 50 DMA decisively except Dow which is fighting back to reclaim 50 DMA.....
Last time also Dow refused to close below 50 DMA...will it succeed this time? only close can tell...
50 DMA in Dow is 9718.80.....
Looks like program selling controlling the downside......

All indices have reversed their technical picture @ close....
Indices @ close are in good health technically speaking..all major index are above 50 DMA...
Volume was above average on this strong bounce......
Most traders/technicians were left wondering as to where this rally came from......all severe corrections do end abruptly when nobody is expecting it......
RSI has been a good indicator of overbought/oversold conditions...which assist me in decision making...
Solar stocks came to life despite drubbing taken by FSLR..which is a sign of solar turnaround....
Many stocks were UP double digits.......which said a lot about severe oversold conditions/short covering.....
AH futures are down
AH Nikkei UP 1.12%
As expected VIX took a drubbing today Down 11.29% closing @ 24.76...

Markets back on track ..UP 1.11% to 1.35%..NICE !!!!
So GS made a killing by implying that they knew that GDP will be BAD.....so much for suckers falling for that game...GDP came better than expected.....take that Roubini.....i am sure he has no answer for GDP robust growth of 3.5% as a qualified economist???

Nasdaq Down 5.98% already.....
All Indices are under extreme selling pressure with Nasdaq being down 5.98% followed by S&P 500 down 5.33% while Dow down 3.53%........
RSI are in deep oversold area in all indices.... S&P 500 41.23,Nasdaq 37.56 Dow 46.62
VIX jumped 12.4% to close @ 27.91...suggesting technical bounce???
Internals of Nasdaq was terrible with new 52 week low higher 33 than highs 10..
Last June correction Indices went down almost 9%.......
So it is becoming a popular sports as to predict how low indices will go....
What I do is look for an attractive entry point in stocks which i have monitored closely...IF the price is right...I am buying...which I did today......generally I do NOT get the low of the day which you can see with all my posted purchases......
I do change strategy based on my personal interpretation of how to position in any given market @ any given moment...NO i do not follow any pundit and do NOT factor their opinion which is always presented in a filtered manner means take the truth out but focus on that they are always correct in their assessment...facts do not support their "implied accuracy"
SO...why are the markets in downward slope...many reasons are there, First we came UP sharply since early July...so a pullback was more than overdue.......secondly there is data which is mixed @ best which gives another reason to sell or lock huge profit.......
YES...this correction will be over also like many other corrections......

AH GNK ER was a beat on EPS by 8 cents and also beat in Sales CC is @ 8.30 AM....stock was down 57 cents on a AH volume of 20,259 shares......guidance to be given in the CC...

Nasdaq has broken down technically..NOT good @ all...
Nasdaq is leading all the indices lower & has broken down technically......Nasdaq 50 DMA is 2089.50 and we already have traded as low as 2081.73..well below 50 DMA
S&P 500 also traded below 50 DMA which is @ 1050.49..also traded @ 1049.62...
Dow is the ONLY one which IS trading above 50 DMA of 9699..lowest trade so far is 9817.02..
RSI picture is also negative as they have gone below the usual trading range of last four months as they are listed below :

Nasdaq 41.30
Dow 50.31.....only one within range
Based on the above scenario...UNLESS we close above 50 DMA on good volume...market IS in technical trouble & MAY take us lot LOWER than what we are ready for????
