Earnings driven momentum continues......
Earnings for the most part has been good, most stocks got rewarded while poor earnings were punished. Some good earnings were punished also, like AMD, FB & INTC.....while bad earnings from AMZN were penalized only 2.5%.....TWTR got slammed big time on missing users growth.
Coming week will see earnings from the following which i own or follow closely:
Tuesday AAPL, SPWR
Wednesday TSLA OCLR SWIR
Thursday OLED
AAPL earnings will be about its guidance, without 8, it may be soft.....
SPWR may surprise on the upside due to higher guidance, whole solar sector is on fire due to legislative changes in US market, where solar panels are being made mandatory on new residential construction.
OCLR may give good guidance, this may propel this stock from a very long base into new highs.
SWIR has beaten estimates and it may be no different this time, yes it may also go to new 52 wk high.
TSLA....may see major move in either direction, it is a battleground stock, suggest waiting for earnings, then taking a position.
OLED had a beat and higher guidance last Q, it may repeat this Q ...may go into new highs.
Major indices continue to make series of new all time highs, which is an indication of more to come in short term.
VIX has been in total slump, that slump may continue near term.

Every metric saw growth, earning was UP a whopping 71% this Q.
FB is guiding to spend less and expenses were less than anticipated for reported Q, this was a big relief in AH. Stock price went down to $158 @ low of AH and high was $173.44, on AH volume of 11 million shares.

Stock market superstars to report this week.....
This week will see earnings from many companies who have dominant position in their sector.
Monday GOOG
Tuesday AMD
Wednesday FB
Thursday TWTR AMZN BIDU
The above 6 companies are either dominant or challenging leaders in their field.
GOOG is expected to beat and is slated for about 5% move
AMD...speculation is building that they they will beat but will raise guidance for Q3
FB.....they are the dominant player in mobile ads with a captive audience
TWTR TAPE action is telling most people that they have found a niche in their business model and is on the mend ......slated for new highs
AMZN is dominating e commerce and is destroying brick and mortar in the process....Internet biggest beneficiary....already hitting series of new all time highs...
BIDU... is coming out of a long base and is in the process of showing growth in Sales after several quarters...EPS is expected to be higher than last fiscal year......expected to make new highs....
All of the above earnings should propel Nasdaq to series of all time highs......
It is important to have a mix of leaders and new ideas in earning season.
I have exposure in 4 out of 6 mentioned above.
It is not too late to be part of earnings game, most of the above IF not all should have positive reaction.
TAPE has found comfort in cross current of political gridlock and higher US growth.
I see us climbing wall of worries......
It is never all clear in market, always something to worry about.

US stock market in a major bull mode.......
US stock market has entered a new phase of this ongoing bull market.
First it was transport which made new all time high, then Dow made a new all time high, followed by S&P 500.....
RUT is @ new all time high......
Nasdaq is the next index set to make new all time high, it is only 30 points away....
SOX should follow Nasdaq in making new all time high, it is 46 points away.....
Dow theory was confirmed when Transport and Dow made a new all time high on Friday.....
Dow theory is the most widely followed by technicians......
July is shaping to be the-most powerful UP move we may have seen in a while......
Take advantage of this strong signal from this TAPE and position aggressively and do not "overthink" or "over analyze"
There are many stocks in SOX which are extremely attractive to buy, means low RSI still exist.....
Sometimes, it is better to let the market decide, how far any stock can go......it is OK to sell after stock has taken a turn, that level may be much higher where we normally exit.
Solar stocks have outperformed this TAPE lately after long slump......

Internals were :
UP volume led by 1.70 to 1 in NYSE & 1.12 to 1 in Nasdaq
Advancing stocks led by 1.11 to 1 in NYSE & 1.01 to 1 in Nasdaq
Net new 52 wk highs were leading by 110 in NYSE & 61 in Nasdaq
VIX Down 3.88% @ 9.90
Oil @ $46.08

About market, TAPE continued its bull run with all indices closing in green, they closed near high of the day, Dow made a new all time high. Internals were all positive. Oil has found bid and equities have no real anxieties. Nasdaq continues on its own bull run, which is good for investor sentiment. Friday should be a positive day. There is only a closing BLOG around 7 PM on Friday's.

Internals were strong. Dow made a new all time high, S&P 500 is next in line followed by Nasdaq. Buy what is working and benefit form this resurgence.
