Indices looking vulnerable.....
Indices are looking quite vulnerable as SOX have started its descend from lofty levels,
As the say....as goes SOX...so goes the market...
Here is a look @ RSI for analysis :
Nasdaq 75.63
S&P 500 72.28
TAN 65.31
SOX 64.85
DOW 61.26
RUT 58.83
GLD 47.10
XLE 45.47
Interesting to note that SOX has fallen from way above top position to number 4 in one week.
TOP position is for Nasdaq which closed @ new all time highs.
Number two is S&P 500 which also closed @ new all time high.
DOW is a distant number 5
Russell 2000 has been languishing as it stays in number 6 position for relative strength.
Bottom two are GLD & XLE.....

Monday GOOG after close
Tuesday AAPL & AMD after close
Earnings report are becoming a company event not a market event, which explains lackluster performance by many non-performing stocks.

Market in overbought territory......
RSI is flashing an overbought market which may need to retrace some of it gains, here is a look @ RSI :
SOX 75.33
Nasdaq 69.12
S&P 500 67.05
DOW 66.41
RUT 51.96
Above numbers are highlighting where overbought condition is, it is SOX Nasdaq S&P 500 and DOW...all above 66.41.......60 area generally considered overbought, SOX @ 75.33 is overbought and need rest / pullback.
Russell 2000 has not participated in this rally which is a concern.
Except for SOX...no other index managed a new all time highs in this run...also a concern...
On top of high RSI numbers TXN reports on Tuesday, semiconductor stocks will react based on its result and more so on guidance...
TWTR which I own also reports on Tuesday.
Wednesday is FB & MSFT are key players in many technology theme.
Thursday is SBUX.....Chinese sales will be in focus.
Based on Fridays close, here are the key index from new all time highs :
S&P 500 is 35 points away.....
DOW 450 points away
Nasdaq 135 points away
Russell farthest from all time high lagging by 177 points....
SO...it is going to be earnings driven stocks and reaction for those sectors...TWTR earnings on Tuesday may impact social media stocks like FB....
FB earnings on Wednesday may impact TWTR......

Market in new all time high mode......
Market is all set to make series of new highs, it may start this week.
Stars are aligned....
VIX to hit new low...also this week
Here is a look @ my reliable RSI.....
SOX 69.60
S&P 500 69.39
Nasdaq 69.14
DOW 63.36
RUT 59.77
Based on the above numbers none of the above numbers are in 70 area, means we are not overbought. This time we may hit high 70 before any pullback.
SOX is making series of all time highs
S&P 500 may be 2 trading days to make it into all time highs
DOW may take 2 UP days to make it into all time highs
Nasdaq may need 3 to 4 days to make into all time highs.
Russell 2000 is the laggard here may take up to 4 weeks
VIX @ 12.01 ...52 wk low is 10.17.....which may be taken out end of this week.
Of all the stocks FB is looking very good to make a new all time high as soon as this week.
GOOG may try to move closer to its all time high
AMZN may also come closer in a breakout in indices.
There is an eerie silence on Wall & Broad, it may have an upside explosion and the herd will take over.
SO...based on the above optimistic scenario, it is wise to be exposed to this TAPE in a bullish way.
Technology, Semiconductor stocks must be overweight in your portfolio.
Once we get going on the bullish mode, train will leave the station in a hurry.

Advancing stocks led by 2.85 to 1 in NYSE & 2.26 to 1 in Nasdaq
Net new 52 wk highs were leading by 146 in NYSE & 37 in Nasdaq
VIX Down 6.86% @ 13.30

About market, TAPE was under some pressure after release of Fed minutes which stated that interest rate may have to be raised IF economy improves, market took this in stride and closed @ high of the day. Internals were positive. Chinese stocks took another day of breather, hopefully Thursday they will find their footing.
