Market may be overbought....BUT
Market is overbought on couple of Indicators I follow which is listed below :
RSI........
Nasdaq 76.97
S&P 500 75.73
IWM 73.76
SOX 73.01
DOW 68.99
RSI is telling us all of the above are overbought except DOW.
CMF.....
IWM 0.068........high 0.17
DOW 0.015........high 0.43
S&P 500 0.187........high 0.45
Nasdaq 0.241.......high 0.41
As you can clearly see Chaikin Money Flow has slowed down, this means money is leaving this TAPE.
These are the only 2 indicators I watch daily and report in my BLOG daily, they do give advance warning on trend...
SO what all this means......?
It means that some money is going to sidelines, either booking profit or waiting for a better entry in this market.....this has happened @ an alarming rate in most sector of this market thus take it for whatever its worth.
RSI is a little tricky, In a strong market, RSI can go to 90 area.....
Are we in a strong market? answer is absolutely YES.....
It is better to play rotation than risk good profit, means profit needs to be booked.
Many stocks have not participated in this rally, majority of Chinese stocks are in deep slump.
Some famous names like XLNX, M have not done much @ all.....
SO...look @ your portfolio evaluate technical strength, some are getting dangerously overbought for near term factoring recent surge NOT necessarily RSI numbers......
Nobody knows how far market or stocks can go.......BUT.....booking profit Is a smart strategy....

Can we go into euphoric mode in US stock market.....
Many times in history, US & world market go in total euphoria in celebration of all system go.....
Are we in that same mode as Y2K euphoria......
IT could be the same environment...based on the following key facts :
US & CHINA have a historic trade deal
US Federal Reserve policies are extremely favorable for bulls
5 G is coming, the next revolution of nano second everything
Majority of traders and Investors are " under weight in equities "
New Year allocation will be heavily shifting to equities
Year end performance bonus are @ risk for many hedge funds and institutions...they have to play catch up to boost their returns or show they are in right stocks....
RSI is very reasonable @ all time high levels.....lots of room for euphoria to get going
SO.....it all adds up to Y2020 boom in world markets......
Do not be the last one one IN.....
Get your exposure high high high....
Time is right.....

New all time highs in US market this week?
All major Indices DOW, S&P 500 & Nasdaq are sitting within 2 days of trading to make a new all time high.....
Only Russell 2000 is about 4.61% away from making new all time highs, only sector which has not done in this run.....
SOX is only 1.93% away from making new all time high, SOX was the first sector to make a brand new all time high in this run.....
Are we going to wait or pull back a little then make a run, that remains to be seen.
Fed meeting may not change anything, but market may like to hear their policy statement.
Here is a look @ RSI for some guidance :
IWM 65.72
S&P 500 63.98
Nasdaq 63.97
DOW 59.92
SOX 56.34
Very interesting reading, IWM is the strongest and SOX is the weakest, two extreme and they normally are watched for market direction.
RSI is indicating that market is not overbought, which Is a good thing.
SOX looks like an oversold sector, which can be bought right here.
Nasdaq is attractive also in terms of buying focus.
DOW is lagging.....
Based on RSI read, market can easily make new all time highs this week.
Year end rally is very much in focus.

About market, TAPE closed UP 2 days in a row which is a very good thing, technically speaking. We went through digestive phase early on during the day. Internals were not very convincing yet. Jobs report is due @ 830 AM, it will set the tone for rest of the day, when market wants to go up it does not matter and will close green, which is my guess.
