SOX @ an all time high.....NICE !!!!
SO..here we are SOX making new all time high on a closing basis, this bodes well for all other Indices to catch up and join the "all time high party"
SOX has been under pressure due to Huawei ban and ongoing irritation with Chinese exposure and collaboration due to stuck in the mud trade talks.......
SOX hit its low of 1286.99 in 4th week of May 2019, only 5 months ago, It had an spectacular run / gain of 361.68 points or a gain of 28.10% in 5 months alone.....annual it and you have a % gain of 67.44%.....NOT bad @ all.....
In other Indices we are only 1 to 2 day's of gain away to make it to all time high
Only area where we are still 192 points away from all time high or 11.02% is in Russell 2000....that is 7 trading days of gains ....sooner this RUT will make it.
Hopefully, you are positioned in the market to take advantage of new all time highs, but a series of all time highs.....
RSI is well below overbought area of 70, barely touching 60 and DOW @ bargain basement of 55.81, RUT @ 59.36.
All star SOX RSI is only @ 60.96......
Widely followed S&P 500 RSI @ 60.57
Lot of room to run, they all are just getting warmed UP.....
Many stocks are @ new all time high...check 52 wk high list, too many to mention.....
MSFT is all set to hit new all time high with its contract win after close on Friday, AMZN big loser in that deal.....
AAPL FB GOOG are reporting this week....
For me AMD on Tuesday & SPWR on Wednesday after close.....
Most earnings are coming better than expected and some are treated better even on Sales miss like TSLA.....
SO....playing earnings cannot be such a bad gamble.....this time around.....

US Stock Market gyrating?
US stock market has been fighting all odds and is in an ascending pattern.
Since January 2018 which is 22 months ago, we have been gyrating wildly with huge drop in December 2018 and then making new all time highs in July 2019...
In 22 months we are only 100 points ahead from where we started.....
SO IF you are feeling we are not making any progress in our Investing, because markets are too volatile .....
Brexit, China, Fed, Iran are impacting trading on a daily basis..
GLD has benefited lately due to stock market gyration and may have peaked and going south....
Here is a peak in my closely watched RSI numbers :
DOW 51.49
Nasdaq 53.60
SOX 54.15
S&P 500 54.93
RUT 55.92
As you can see, that we are looking very strong in above numbers, SOX actually made a new Intraday all time high 5 trading days ago.....
RUT is the farthest from new all time high.....205 points or about 11.79% away...
S&P 500 and SOX need 42 & 35 points to make into new record.....DOW & Nasdaq are 630 and 250 points away which may be 3 days of UP move.....
No matter how you feel about volatility, It Is heading in the right direction.
SOX seems to be the right focus to benefit from this ascending pattern.
FANGS are not with rare exception of AAPL which is in new all time high territory......
SO...based on the picture I am trying to paint, It Is very encouraging, to say the least.....
Chinese slowdown has hit Chinese stocks the worst and are more volatile than any sector, BUT we all live in hope....so not all is lost there either....

About market, TAPE had a solid advance where just about every sector participated except gold, that is a very convincing UP market. Internals were mostly positive and strong. Financials were the big catalyst today with good earnings and guidance. Hoping for a positive close on Wednesday to confirm this momentum.
