About market, TAPE closed lower but tried many times to get in green until Fed Governor Neil Kashkari made some hawkish statement pushing indices lower @ close. Internals were weak. Now it is all about " turnaround Tuesday " Hope is a rare commodity on Wall Street these days, It is so easy to talk bearish.

US stock market going higher.....

 Fed promised " pain for everyone " but US stock market is all set to go higher.

After Monday's open when all margin calls are cleared, market should move steadily higher.

Many new short position were opened on Friday.

 Guess what, they all have to cover IF they see market is NOT going lower the way they had hoped.....thus a rally will start...

Many regular market participant were extremely cautious going into Fed statement, thus we all have lot of cash to deploy....

Stock market can and does turn on a dime

Impossible to predict what comes next, BUT we play with " probabilities " or " odds "

Probability or odds are extremely high that Monday may see a low for this downturn...which means we may make a " double bottom " or confirm support second time making higher lows...

Monday could be the biggest tell tale of the strength of technical health of this market.

Once we turn UP on Monday, we may see a sustained rally

Sector wise there is a complete turnaround

DOW was strongest is now weakest based on RSI @ 42.33

XLE or energy was the weakest before, NOW is strongest @ 65.97 RSI

TAN or solar stocks are second strongest with an RSI of 55.70..giving a strong signal with golden cross

All other sectors are in 40's RSI.....so take your pick from SOX to Russell 2000 to Nasdaq

My pick will be Nasdaq which is sporting an RSI of 43.75

ARKK is seeing biggest inflow of funds despite being 50% lower.....faith in Cathi Woods is getting stronger.....me included...

SO lot to think about as to how to interpret this market, go with strength or go bargain hunting or a mixture of both....all style may work...but % gains may be the key....

US Stock market is in trouble?

 US stock market on Friday took a beating and closed near low of the day.

For the most part it was expiry of weekly options 

Secondly, we were overbought, have been going UP & UP for last 5 weeks

Third and may be the most important yields were rising lately

SO we have pulled back hard on Friday, most stocks took a beating in most sectors

Weakness in stocks is an opportunity to make some changes based on current market preferences or weakness, Crypto currencies are taking into chin these days.

When we are down hard, I look into making some switches in my portfolio to reflect weakness in Crypto currencies

Market will go UP and markets will go down based on fundamental reasons / technical reasons / sentiment or short term reason like option expiry.

I see US stock market in much better position to go higher than most markets which has more challenges.

US dollar strength has taken a huge toll on world currencies and is impacting balance of trade creating huge deficits

US inflation will slope downwards due to higher dollar

Gasoline is coming down hard which will reduce inflation in USA

SO, take a moment and see how you can reposition your portfolio to take advantage of current weakness.

US Stock market making higher highs.....

 US stock market is looking very healthy @ the close on Friday.

Russell 2000 is the first major index which closed above 50 & 200 DMA

TAN is the first sector to make a golden cross

All the major index are ready to take out 200 DMA

S&P 500 only needs 48 points to be above 200 DMA

DOW needs 144 points to be above 200 DMA

S&P 500 / DOW can run above 200 DMA @ open

Nasdaq needs a move of 463 points to be above 200 DMA, potential 2 day UP move

Strongest index remains Russell 2000 with an RSI of 75.10

2nd strongest now is a surprise, It Is XLF with RSI of 72.87

3rd strongest is S&P 500 @ 71.67 RSI

4th strongest is DOW @ 71.21 RSI

Weakest is XLE with an RSI of 60.26

What does it all means, that we are starting a bull run and all aspect of current market is above 60 RSI, a sure sign of good health for this market.

We may get a flood of funds allocation to US stock market once we cross 200 DMA in major indices.

Inflow of funds will push this market much much higher in a hurry.

It is a good idea to be patient and let the stocks run to its fair value, currently most stocks are below fair value.

Once most stocks in your portfolio are @ fair value, then It IS a good idea to book profit.

There is tremendous momentum in US stock market to go higher in a hurry.

US stock market may surprise bears......

 US stock market not only is showing resilience BUT it is all set to surprise bears who are so entrenched in their belief.

Last week and particularly Friday with job shocker, market maintained its own rhythm and DOW showed money...

Always pay attention to market action on worst days, IF its more than OK then do not ignore it.

Dr Marty Zweig famous line " do not fight the TAPE " speaking loud and clear these days...

Biggest outperformer is Russell 2000 which is critical for a sustained rally, IWM is sporting highest RSI in my universe @ 68.98

TAN or solar stocks are showing biggest UP moves and strength, TAN is almost ready to make "first Golden Cross " very shortly...first real technical strength on any board....RSI @ 66.07

XLE has crashed but some die hard are not giving up, some were very late to join on the slump, RSI reading is lowest in my universe @ 47.91

Nasdaq or technology stocks are showing second highest RSI reading @ 66.71.

Technology has been showing strength and sign of turning higher after testing series of support. It is a tough area to navigate as most familiar names are not leading charge, some of them like META just found support.

Bottom line is create a new portfolio which not only moves with market but is actually "outperforming "
