Fed action fell short of expectations.....
Fed statement also misses the mark.....
Financials will be severely affected by muted action by fed......
The only saving grace is that markets are less jittery these days......
Markets may take a "step back...and digest this negative reaction to fed move"
The reaction of markets are tell tale of negativity .........

Saleem,
Not what the market wanted from the FED! I sold my position in RIMM, right after the announcement @$100. $13.50 less than my cost. Also sold my GENZ...Made 20%.
Positives in my portfolio (for now) LDK and VMW.
Saleem, I know you are probably very busy just minding your own investments but if I could impose on you to give me your take on SOHU, I would greatly appreciate it. SOHU is my largest position. IH stopped it out at the close today. I am in the house of pain with this one. Do you see any chance of a bounce up from here or is it fizzle time for SOHU? I would be willing to wait 30 days or more if there was a chance to recoup some of the $ but If I have to swallow the loss and move on, I will. Thanks for any insight you can provide. Doug... P.S. IH has a tendency to exit on TA alone. I have seen stocks that they stopped out of, come soaring back in a relatively short time period. Thanks again.
Hi Doug,
SOHU is a very good company.I see downside risk to 50dma which is $50.41.....
SOHU is oversold based on CMF & RSI.....but it may touch 50DMA or slightly below.....
After next ER it will do well..but that is about two months away...it may start building its runup after testing support around 50 DMA....
So...SOHU further downside $3...but UPSIDE $7.....
But...please do NOT add any more no matter how tempting it may look.
Hope it helps.
Saleem
Hi Bruce,
Sorry for your loss in RIMM but somehow made UP by GENZ....you need to think either in pair trade or overall.....whichever gives you positive picture.
LDK & VMW both are behaving SUPERB $$$$
