Markets after two days of major run....pausing to look @ data released this AM.....
Because of reasonable job growth of 94,000.....Markets are evaluating tuesday's rate cut...
Sentiments are shifting "rapidly towards 25 basis cut by fed...which markets will NOT like ???"
Consumer confidence is @ lowest level........
Fed needs to go for 50 basis to bolster consumer, investors & economy...that is my expectation to keep this rally going......
In my portfolio :
I added 10% LDK @ open..my cost of LDK went UP to $29.33.....I feel this is the "most undervalued solar play"
LDK is UP 42 cents on average volume.
AAPL is UP 32 cents only $2+ from its alltime high...AAPL is opening a "mega store in NYC today"
AGU is flat..digesting recent gains and going to new alltime high.....
RIMM has been staying green UP 65 cents...while nasdaq has been red this AM.
@11.23 AM the following are green:
CSIQ,STP,IFN,TGT,BRCM,BX,TSO,WYNN,MSO,LVS,NYX,VLO,
SPWR,HOKU,NDAQ,MR,ASTI,MA.
Good luck on friday the 7th.

Hi Saleem. Nice add with LDK. Up 10% now on average volume, seems to be digesting it's recent gains. If I get a double (~59.50), I will open up a 529 plan with max amount for my three neices for a holiday gift. My brother is a teacher and has not started saving for their college. Peace.
AAPL seems to be rising on low volume. I would like to see the price increases with above average volume.
I am in DAR, POT, EGN and OTEX. Have been in and out of RIMM, AAPL, GOOG and BIDU all year, but not seeing the volume to give me confidence this week.
Once they break out above their old highs on above average volume -I am going in!
Saleem, enjoy your blog and insight
Hi Minaccess,
LDK @ $60 is a given.....

Saleem,
Don't you wish you had AAPl's.
"problem"
AAPL new 52 week high today. As you know it is my biggest holding... 40%+ of my portfolio. Goes to show that with some due dilligence, cutting the losers quickly, and some LUCK, you don't have to be right the majority of time to make some $$.

A Fortune blog explores what Apple could be doing with their $15 billion cash reserve that they have accumulated in the past few years.
Hi Bruce,
We all need AAPL problem.....what to do with any amount of money...
AAPL is going to be the-story of 2008 also.
As you know I added more AAPL @ open yesterday.
You deserve Prime Rib Au ju's dinner for your conviction.

Saleem,
I'm happy for you! I agree AAPL appears unstoppable into 2008.
I live in South Florida and make it a point to visit the AAPL stores in my area. They are always very busy (jammed) with both buyers and potential buyers. I also have a secret investment weapon, a 13 year old daughter and 19 year old son. Both they and their friends are all owners of AAPL equipment/toys and they keep updating them as new ones come out.
Best Regards,
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
Your teenagers purchases are the result of AAPL ability to go beyond the current status quo always.
AAPL has the abilty to excite customers by redoing the similar gadgetry in better & attractive functionality.
Sometimes AAPL creates the market which never existed before.
In investment you are following Peter Lynch approach of touch & feel the things you use and then invest in it.
