Markets zig zagged its way to a high close accross the board !!!!
Market internals were strong also........
Russell 2000 was the strongest by far......which means that small cap were participating today !!!
Nasdaq was the second strongest index......followed by S&P500.......
Market internals were strong whole day...thus resulting in strong close......
Mini S&P can distort the markets by manipulators very easily...
Always check advancing volume & advancing stocks ratios ......which will give you confidence to stay in the market or do buying with confidence.....
In my portfolio :
LDK was UP $1.82...reports AH wed......
BIDU was "the superstar in my show UP $16.97.....my conviction was rewarded big time after buying 4 times"...... which I also had done previously with LDK purchase.......
RIMM was UP 43 Cents........reports Thu AH......
AAPL was the only loser in my portfolio down $1.42......it had retraced $22 after hitting $200 few days ago........Oh..the life in super-fast lane.......
My portfolio was UP 1.5% today !!!!
AH.....PALM reported Loss in their ER and guided to another loss......
FRPT lost another contract to Navistar and is down $1.60 AH.....
Most solar stocks were strong and some hitting new 52 week high.....FSLR,SPWR,CSIQ,ESLR,SOLF,CSUN....alll higher $$$$
We should see a follow thru by close again !!!!!

Hi Saleem. LDK acting very well. Profit taking in am on low volume and ended at high of day. I bought some more @ 64. What are you expecting with earnings tomorrow. Seems like with a clean audit, if earnings and outlook are good I say we go to an all time high. The chart sure looks funny with a very deep cup, but was obviously caused by false accusations. I still can't believe such a simple false allegations can shave 3-4 billion off of a company. LDK still has not recovered, yet. Peace.

Their CC is @ 6PM est.....do you know why.....so early...instead of 8 to 9 PM preferred by Chinese companies.......
I have my speculation.....they want to KILL shorts.....
Q3 & Q4 & 08 consensus is an easy beat......
It was smart to add LDK $$$$

Hi Saleem. I wasn't planning to add more, but when it dropped to 63 I got tempted and pulled the trigger near 64. AH "fast money" had CY CEO on and he said they sell their product as fast as they can make it and their only constraint is polysilicon. LDK is in the sweet spot and they will sell as much as they can make for the future.

I hope that you take what TV says with a grain of salt
But I saw both show last night and both guests interviewed were pumping there respective companies. But with the shortage of silcon should be a huge plus for LDK. If we do not beet the estimate for earning look out below.
