The death of US economic strength was "wildly exaggerated & very premature".....
Today jobless claims fell.....that does NOT happen... when economy is in recession if you believe all the doomsters ????
Job report on friday should show a healthy economy..NOT a sinking picture !!!
Slowdown for Q4 & Q1.....has been acknowledged by the fed.....
Q2 of 08 will be the bottom and then recovery from Q3...
Q4 of 08 will be very strong...just in-time for Christmas & gadget sales.......
In my portfolio :
I added 13% more AAPL @ open...got a very good fill...$186.21 my cost on AAPL moved UP to $178.11.....
AAPL is again"superstar in my show UP $3.05"..Bear Stearn's analyst Andrew Neff raised his target to $249 with a BUY rating..also increased estimate for earning for Q1(current Q) to $1.75 on sales of $9.67 billion...
RIMM is also trying to perk UP $1.41 ...trying to break the "downtrend"
AGU jumped to all-time high but has backed off for now.....currently UP 86 cents....
LDK is down $1.53 on heavy volume......MM taking advantage of weak hands...who dump shares @ the sign of first pullback.....no CONVICTION....which is known to hedge funds & MM...so why wouldn't they take advantage of these defined behaviour......
@ 11.23 AM the following are green:
GOOG,IFN,POT(new high),CTRP (near alltime high),SIRF,CMED (higher end of the trading range),NMX,NYX,VLO,WFR,SNE,HOKU (financing for new plant),SOHU,OXPS,
EBAY,LRCX,NTRI,MA(new high),JASO,ENER.
We are ABOVE some KEY technical levels on the market..S&P 500 is above 1490 $$$$

All of your purchase went UP today...they all look very strong to me.
Must be the Turkish Sheesh Kebob...which I enjoyed in Istanbul back in 1970..went to Ankara ,Erzurum by bus.

We all are trying very hard to make money on a daily basis.
Markets are always very challenging..so it is important to monitor FA & TA very closely...to avoid loss due to change in direction.
I appreciated your kind offer..never been to LA....having lived in Honolulu for 5 years when I was going to university of Hawaii from 1968 to 1972.
Now live peacefully in Canada.
