Hi Saleem and Madmax. That is not the correct IDB 100 list. I didn't check the whole list, but it seems HOLX was added as #2, but not on the list (at least as #2).
Saleem, I have some cash I need to put to work. I am looking at getting back into RIMM or SOHU but I also saw your SOLF buy. So my question is, would you provide your opinion on which two of the three you would buy on Monday? Also if you have any other ideas, like something you are watching to buy... please let me know, if you think the opportunity could be better than the three listed. Thanks. P.S. I am talking about buying at the current price levels on these stocks, not waiting for pullbacks... my current stocks are CAT, NUE, ASIA. So any of the three above would fit nicely in terms of rotation and diversity.
As you noted that SOLF IS in my porfolio....which IS an absolute BUY.....
Just to expand further SOLF & JASO has same EPS for 2008...but JASO is trading @ $8 more......thus it IS #1 buy......
RIMM has to be a CORE position in any portfolio...as its earning momentum is the-best......it is also in the fastest growing segment of MUST HAVE consumer/business gadget....so it IS #2 only because of HIGH outlay of funds.....
RIMM & SOLF has rested ...& it is ready for some "fireworks NOW"

As the markets are in "healthy mode"..so it IS important to give breathing room to all stocks instead of over-trading....
If you want...you can follow what I do....which will be a reflection of what else IS more exciting for my $$$.....
