Markets are waiting for ER which starts tonight with AA......
Earning expectations are pretty low....so there IS a good chance of better earnings from most companies......

Bought ESLR @ open my cost $11.70...ESLR is among the very few solar companies which is poised to Increase their Wafer production & their Sales for 2009 by 220.1%..Sales going from $114.13 million 12/08 to $365.35 million 12/09......
My portfolio is BRCM,ESLR,RIMM,SEED,SOLF,TOL....
BRCM down 15 cents
ESLR UP 68 cents...I am down 33 cents
RIMM UP $1.26
SEED down 10 cents
SOLF UP 77 cents
TOL UP 42 cents

Hi Saleem,
well if I would have shorted LDK, I would have done great. LOL. Just kidding. I sold for a buck loss. Sold ASIA for a buck gain and twice as many shares as LDK, so all in all I came out fine. CAT is flat, NUE has been up all day and SOHU is down but I bought it down and added a little so my cost basis there is not bad. What do you think is up with asian stocks today? Could it have been that motley fool article? One last question Saleem, is SOLF a buy here at around $15.75? Thanks for your thoughts.

Canadian building permits down for the 4th straight month! Further proof of a full recession coming to Canada! The media never gives up! LOL! Prices are rising on food products in Atlanta. Gas about $3.25 reg. Business is good, but gas costs are eating into profits.

Real estate IS showing sign of slowdown in Toronto area.....
Unit sales are DOWN 20% for two months back to back.....
Prices are still UP 4% YOY.....
Gas prices are always HIGHER in Canada ..it is $4.33 in US gallon...

What an ugly reversal. Dow up over 110, now red. Nasdaq leading to the downside. I think the street nervous about earnings to come. Also, ACI warned that earnings will be lower than expected
