RIMM as usual beat Q4 ER by 2 cents and sales higher than high end of guidance......
So...RIMM beats consensus Sales & EPS.......great for an environment which is as tough as it IS...
RIMM'S guidance for Sales & EPS was WAY ahead of highest estimate by any analyst......
RIMM is guiding sequentially much higher than 72 cents EPS in Q4 just reported
Guidance for Q1 is Sales $2.23 Billion to $2.30 Billion
Guidance for Q1 EPS is 82 cents to 86 cents.......
AH RIMM is UP $5 from close......
Expect many upgrades & increase in RIMM'S stock target price before open Thursday !!!!

All solar were strong today.....LDK had a supply agreement AH in India for 10 years....UP almost $6......STP,FSLR,SPWR,SOLF,CSUN,CSIQ were strong

Hi Saleem. RIMM front page in IBD for tomorrow. Headlines reads "BlackBerry maker allays handset fears as it's Q4 results, Outlook exceeds views". Nice article. I expect it will be ront page news in all the financial papers and that analyst will upgrade or reiterate their buy ratings and raise targets.

I have to laugh when I look at the LDK chart from last week. It appears the news of the 10 year contract deal was being past around a week before the public announcement. I was wondering why all the buying day after day without any news. Now I know.

Yes it is pretty sad to see the elite MM's buying in LDK on the cheap and leave the news release for the retailers, to have to buy higher. So, once again, the MM's can sell into and destroy the retailers at will because, not only do they have shares way cheaper, they also have about 10 to 1 in terms of shares owned and that can be dumped. It is called collusion, is it not? LOL... Oh well, such is the way of the world.

Gives me 36 on highway US gallon..it is 5 speed manual!!!
Still looks half decent..no body work done ever!!!

Recommendations story about LDK from Piper Jaffray
Piper is making a positive call on the Solar names saying they have heard Spain has raised solar subsidies and output requirements. The firm said this is a positive for YGE, STP, SPWR, JASO, and FSLR. They continue to recommend shorting LDK. Note that Spain is the world's second-largest solar market.

As I mentioned before, PJ was circulating the bad news employee report on LDK OCT 07 to institutional clients back when the price was 60's while having a buy rating on the stock for retail customers. Watch out for PJ.
