Indices pulled back @ close by .15%...pretty good considering we are very near two year highs..
Internals of the markets were slightly negative...
Stocks which were UP included RVBD,LULU,ARUN,POT,AGU,
TCK,SOHU,IBN,MOS,M,X,SOL,SNDK.....
AH Futures UP
AH Asian markets Mixed
AH Oil Down
AH Gold UP
On a personal note,completed my printout for 2010 for Tax filing purposes.In Canada Capital Gains rules are different from US.... it is 50% taxed for all gains & 50% carryover of all Loss.You are charged same 50% if you hold for 1 day or 10 years....50% is added to your TAXABLE income.Loss can be applied against Gains only..No Loss is allowed IF you have NO gains.....
In stocks i lost 3.3% for the year....
On my short US$ & long Canadian $,I had a gain of 51.1%......I am continuing this strategy in 2011 as i expect Canadian $ to gain further against US$...
Overall i had a gain of 47.8%......
First Eight months of the year was not good for me in stocks , as markets were quite erratic until end of August.....after that it was a slow crawl back ending in 3.3% loss.

it is cool to get a gain like that over 40%
Stocks should be better for you in 2011 than currency
As for stocks AGU is RIS 75 wow what a run
do you think we should sell or hold??

AGU is looking "very strong"...
Yes RSI 74.45..but when a stock makes a new high..you are wise to stick with it....
Looks like $100 is a possibility for AGU....
I say it is a strong long term hold.
