SALEEM

I like CSX here--rails should do well in 2012
here ae my posirtions
KMP -- 40%
SCCO-------30%
T----------15%
TOT------- 10%
the rest are tiny positions
ETP, EPD, GE, IVR, LINE, MO, PFE, GNK,
and last is LVS

SOLD EVEP again for a resounding return of 30% and dividend of 4.7% not to shabby.

I sold AMZN and EVEP on Friday as the market tape was perplexing me!! I like to be able to see direction and a result of not feeling good about the direction of the market ---I sold and I lost $$$$ by selling way early.

Just my ramblings

Hi C,

NEVER lookback except to learn from it.

We all have MISSED on many gains due to INCORRECT read on stocks or market.

I checked EVEP,SCCO & KMP....First two looks very interesting......

Hey Saleem,

I actually have three children under five and watch them during the day, hence my availability for intraday market coverage. During the tumultuous times this year, it has been difficult to juggle both responsibilities. I hope this year in the market is overall calmer so I can devote even more attention to the family :).

Hi Stocktrader,

I remember the youngest one who was born around the time of POT takeover......

Me & my wife who is from Nepal are from large family, but decided for no children as i had huge responsibility of raising 5 brothers & 3 sisters from age 19...when my father died suddenly @ age 46.....i wanted my mother to never feel that my father is not around for all her needs......

Now all of my brothers & sisters are well settled in life with children of their own...my mother lives with all of us.....

Except for one sister, everyone is in US...i am the only one in Canada.

When my father died, my youngest sister was one yr old.......so i know the feeling of bringing dreams into reality......

I am sure that 2012 will be much different ie less stressful...so you can spend "quality time" with your children & life partner.......
