About market, TAPE was extremely resilient in wake of Turkey vs Russia incident, Russell, SOX came alive and big caps rested and pulled back slightly closing well above lows. Rotation is definitely taking hold with oil stocks taking the lead, most commodity stocks were strong. Diversified portfolio came into play today. Stay the course as we move higher in this strong season.

I think the stock needs to rest after such a huge run and most catalysts soon to be exhausted (retail tends to underperform after Thanksgiving). This frees up a cash position for something more opportunistic into year-end.

I want you to know that I have just transferred my retirement account to investment account. I plan to start my investment in December. I would appreciate if you can give me some stock picks for my retirement account. I have (AA - Alcoa)in my personal account . I have traded TNA, UPRO and TZA and made some money. I have a position in TZA (41.10) right now.
Sometimes I feel that it is better to go with ETF funds instead of individual stocks that can be downgraded or miss their earning. And so if we go with a good sector like UPRO I think we can make money. What do you think?

Thanks for your kind words, it is always a pleasure to write this BLOG which is in its 9th year, its a labour of love.......my way of giving something back.
About your managing of retirement funds, it brings tremendous responsibility.
My only guidance will be to be extremely conservative and think very long term.
ETF is a good way of allocating funds & risk, but be diversified in ETF also.
Try not to treat retirement funds the same as trading account.
Look back and think where you made mistakes & why.
Do lot of homework and go with low cost ETF like Vanguard.
Look @ history of those ETF and allocate @ least in 6 ETF...equal amount.....
Think of dependable themes like Technology, Financial, Energy, Emerging market,High dividend & Industrial......to name a few
Good luck with your homework......
Remember it takes homework, conviction & time to see real result.
