Indices closed near high of the day. S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed @ new all time high. Fed chief looking @ gradual hike in interest rates.

Internals were :

UP volume led by 2.36 to 1 in NYSE & 2.62 to 1 in Nasdaq

Advancing stocks led by 2.50 to 1 in NYSE & 1.76 to 1 in Nasdaq

Net new 52 wk highs were leading by 154 in NYSE & 159 in Nasdaq

VIX Down 3.38% @ 11.99

Oil @ $68.72

Gold @ $1213.30

Canadian $ @ .6972
