In next 4 trading days.....2023 will come to an end....
Last 4 days will see lot of tax loss selling in stocks which has lagged badly....
As they say, let the profit run....BUT for traders, It Is impossible to do so, as we want to book profit and try new ideas....
For investors through individual stocks or through ETF, it IS very easy to buy & hold for many years.
As part of my take on market, It IS very surprising how attractive RSI IS on many stocks.
Here are the RSI numbers for many stocks which I do not own yet :

Friday's trading will bring final statistics for all indices & stocks as to how they fared in 2023. It will be interesting to compare with final numbers for the BLOG visitors vs ETF / Indices.
It IS important to focus on 2024 with a clear vision of what may work better than 2023.
It IS important to do Fundamental & Technical analysis, then understand each stocks trading pattern.

It was a quiet and underwhelming week for the portfolio as the SOXS position dragged on results. I tried to get rid of some Wednesday afternoon at 6.65 and missed by a penny. I then tried to sell some on Friday at 6.12 and got 1% of my order filled. I also waited for SNAP fills on multiple days and missed by a handful of cents each day. It's times like these that can be frustrating, but one has to clear their mind about what didn't happen or go right and just think about the next moves - I'm trying to do that. I don't expect much from this week except maybe some positioning for next year, but I'm hoping I can catch some intraday pullbacks to lessen my short position and add a few favorite names.
Holdings: SOXS(x2) LYFT ENPH HIMS MTRN AGCO PSNL ZENV(0.5x) TYGO(0.5x), cash 9%
