In war nothing is predictable
Many new possibilities may happen which has not been factored IN...
Like a new " deadly weapon " which may come into play.....
OR an escalation no one was prepared for....
War creates " desperation "
While these factors are being discounted, we may have a " positive close " in Nasdaq....nothing is fair on Wall St or WAR
SO fasten your seatbelt for a sharply lower open and new highs on GOLD & SILVER

After earnings from IONQ, we see that QBTS is not even the best company in among the niche quantum players, much less competitive threats from the huge players. The chart says it has much more to prove before being worthy of investment, so I raise cash here for a new idea.

The portfolio outperformed nicely thanks to individual gainers in an otherwise down market. Lingering fears about AI disruption, future job losses, and an imminent Iranian offensive (which happened) took a toll, but the pullback was minor given all the fears out there, and we see signs that individual names can move higher as earnings are reported. With prices and sentiment very muted right now, I think the stage is definitely set for a move higher, and the portfolio experienced some of that last week. Stocks with strong charts continue to see inflows and many are approaching breakout points (see ANRO today). I will keep pruning the portfolio as needed and rotating to the stronger names - we get signs daily of which stocks are best...

I think so far the market damage has been fairly contained and only a large spike in oil I think would disrupt that. In most cases, the stocks with no exposure to the consequences will find opportunistic buyers. As for a 401k and index funds, I would definitely not try to time it - any resolution could spike the market overnight and you could be left out.

I wanted to buy CODA instead as a provider of next-gen sonar equipment and mapping with burgeoning military contracts, but it wouldn't let me buy without calling in (I assume due to liquidity or size). Instead, I buy NSSC which is a leader provider of electronic locking devices for corporate, industrial, and residential buildings. Their recurring revenue stream is growing and should provide for revenue and multiple expansion both.
