Perhaps foolishly, I am trying another pre-earnings buy:
Bought RL @ 154.525 (reports tomorrow AM).
I think diversified channels and geographies may protect them from weather effects, and the stock is extremely beat up. I don't see much downside even on a miss for such a recognizable brand.
