Good luck with TZA. I almost wrote up a comment myself advocating TZA when it was 21.05-21.15 around midday. My rationale was that the market energy seemed to be fading and maybe the pullback was finally here after such a sharp and extended runup. I didn't post it because I felt like it was merely a market timing call and traditionally I am not great at those kinds of calls.
When I thought about it further, any pullback is likely to be shallow and short barring some kind of dramatic issue like certain Republicans balking at parts of Trump tax/infrastructure plans. This would cause a larger market mess but is really difficult to gauge in terms of probability, timing, or magnitude of decline. That leaves TZA in a tricky spot--I hope it provides the protection you need :)
