Markets are showing "firm footing three days in a row".....
Markets are giving every signal that base building is on firm footing.....inspite of efforts by chartist & bear to take the markets LOWER.....
Markets always "frustrates either BULL or BEAR...NOW it is BEAR turn to be frustrated"
Markets will go through "slow grind with rotation in stocks"
We had a major "breakdown in markets...HEALING/STRENGTH takes TIME & it IS very SLOW"
Please understand this grinding process & position accordingly......
GAINS will be SLOWER in STRONG stocks....but they WILL INCH forward gradually....
WEAK stocks will go NOWHERE......

CMED UP 63 cents

LDK UP $1.87
MA Down 79 cents
SOLF UP $1.21

Wow, what a day. Probably shouldn't have, but I sold my WFR, CMED, COIN and VVUS all for handsome profits. I think all of these stocks may just keep going right up but I had good solid gains and had to take them off the table, mainly because I was all in the market, with no cash position and a little margin to boot. I bought MA @ $204.40 just before the close. So now I am LDK, MA. I will attempt to get back in to WFR if I get a decent entry as well as CHT. I am happy overall. Congrats on a prosperous day for us.

Thanks for the advice on "chasing" Saleem. With WFR, IH bought in today @$81.09 so if would happen to retrace below that, then I have IH for guidance going forward. I wont buy above their entry and really probably wouldnt buy except on a test under $80, which may not happen and that would be ok. CHT is right at the point of IH entry and I have not owned it for a while, so I may take a nibble at it as I only have two stocks right now. I was very lucky to get in MA at the price I did. After I sold my positions today, I had a wish list with prices and the only one that was screaming "BUY" was MA. LDK I am long and strong even if it means hold to 2009. Thanks for the feedback and explosive comments on MA and LDK. Talk soon and I am glad for you too.
Hi Saleem. Nice day, but still a tough market. I bought COIN yesterday and at the close today was up over 10%. After the close, they put in the paperwork for selling 750k of new stock at an estimate 9.94. Although this information was already public, the stock is down over 10% in AH. Nice moving getting out Doug, but may may be a good buy tomorrow if their is a panic gap down. Peace.

Thanks for letting me know about COIN. It was luck on my part because it was hard for me to let it go. I really struggled with it. Every now and then we all can use a little luck. LOL. I think, by looking at the price history, that COIN will still have its day soon. IH did not stop out so they must see the trend still ok. They have a target of $12.95. Best wishes.

Sorry to hear about COIN.
Wall street is always a minefield...that is WHY..I always have minimum 5 stocks..currently 6.
This way I am affected by 16% of my portfolio and hopefully other 84% will erase any negative.....
No matter how strong I feel...never go overexpose in one only......
Hopefully you have other stocks to negate that on thursday...
