Nasdaq showed green @ close....

Markets are trying to fight negativity to build a base around current level....

Most pundits are harping on markets needs to go below 1270 on S&P 500...then everything will be PERFECT.....

Perfection is hard to define ...it varies from person to person...or better defined from investor to investor..or trader to trader......

What AMAZES me as to WHY everyone is hung up on where markets are heading......INSTEAD where stocks are heading.......

I am obviously in the stocks camp........

I have written REPEATEDLY that NOT all stocks makes LOW on markets LOW......

To put it simply...on the famous 1270 low on S&P 500...ONLY less than 1500 stocks hit new low on combined NYSE & Nasdaq...out of 25,000 stocks traded...which is ROUGHLY 6% hit new low.....

So.....Go Ahead...worry all you want about markets new LOWS..but MAJORITY of stocks are NOT going to JOIN in that famous party of LOW..LOW & LOWS in markets......

In My portfolio :

AGU rating 80/75..target $66.67

CMED rating 90/90..target $49.68

CSIQ rating 80/100..rated for "breakout" @ $19.66 for a target of $23.16

LDK rating 60/95..target $38.09

MA rating 75/30..target $212.77

SOLF rating 100/100 rated for "breakout" @ $17.08 for a target of $20.62...

In other stock :

NYX 60/85 rated for "breakdown"@ $68.24 for a target of $62.39.....

Technology stocks were flying like AAPL,GOOG,RIMM,HPQ,BIDU

ISRG was strong....

Solar were strong FSLR,SPWR

Financials were very WEAK.......

Indian software were very strong like CTSH,INFY,SAY.......

By 10AM on saturday....I will be posting list of technically weak/strong & momentum stocks...

BLOG does NOT give buy or sell.

HI Salim,
Any comments on the recent run up in the coal stocks? ie ACI and BTU? Do you see this bull run continuing? Thanks Charlie

Hi Charlie,

I do not follow coal.

There is lot of chatter about coal which may be good or bad.....

I generally follow 100 stocks only...which is also difficult to keep up.
