After a long weekend & worldwide rally......US markets were ready to stage their rally......
But...But...But......
Many things spooked the markets...namely
-$100 oil
-$24 jump in gold
Both renewed fear of inflation..thus fear of Fed not reducing interest rates.....
As they say.......rest is a flat close on Dow & S&P 500 but a weak finish for Nasdaq.
Today's tape may be discouraging to bulls...but this IS typical of a base formation...so NO real damage done to basing.
In my portfolio :
AGU rating 20/30 target $74.60
CSIQ rating 5/30 target $24.19
CMED rating 25/30..rated for a "breakout" with atarget of $58.66
LDK rating 75/95..target $44.77
MA rating 45/80 target $224.56
SOLF rating 55/90 target $21.74
In other stock :
JASO rating 40/45 target $20.57
AH HPQ ER was good UP $2.20..guidance good !!!
AH disasters were NTRI & CROX...down $5+++
STP reports before OPEN CC 8AM.......expect a good report which should help all solar.....
TSO & VLO were strong
DRYS & DSX were strong
FMCN,NTES ,SINA & SOHU were green......
GOOG,BIDU,ISRG,FSLR,RIMM,NYX,GS & AAPL were WEAK......

I am excited about the LDK target update. I added a little CMED today and was happy with COIN's performance. It has really been a fatiguing market to play. I am ready for a couple of nice days with moves up, that stick! Thanks for letting me hang out at your place (blog). LOL...

You are on the money with GS talk. I just read an article about China inflation climbing quickly and who is the one spreading the news? None other than the China GS branch. Got their dirty fingers in everything.
Crox were all the rage for awhile now no one is buying them. The kids are all buying the American doll series. We have a AD store up the street, unbelievable.

I have been following your thoughts for a while now, and agree with a lot of your picks, i.e. LDK, CMED, SOLF. I too own LDK & SOLF, but wanted to get your opinion on why you believe CROX will be gone soon? CC showed growing numbers both domestically and especially internationally, with big inventory numbers in hopes of keeping up with demand this year. Thanks for your time, and I appreciate all the information you give to everyone.

I do NOT follow CROX @ all.
I briefly glanced @ their ER and saw that their guidance IS below consensus.
I always give lot of weight to guidance......
CROX also came in-line for last Q.
CROX was a wall street fav for a long time...NOW it is NOT......
When an old fav does NOT BEAT or guide HIGHER.....then the stock goes through a fading process....which IS where it IS now.
If you follow CROX closely...then you should be able to decipher IF uptrend will resume shortly or NOT.
Good luck on your position in CROX,LDK & SOLF.

LDK will be fine...as they have already announced their Q1 guidance after the snow storm.
They have also given the range for Q4....
LDK have been extremely pro-active in making any adjustment because of weather or any other reason.
Re-read their last press release ...it addresses all the current & future guidance.
STP ER is "disgusting from all angle".....they should have warned before for Q4 ,Q1 & fy 2008.
STP will face many lawsuits for not warning.
Hoping that the dust setlles by close.......

LDK is holding up pretty well. AGU looking nice. I feel pretty good overall. CMED not bad either. Patience could be the name of the game right now. I did pick up a little SDS to just to hedge a little. Small position though. Hope for a green end.
forgot to mention COIN is also looking good. Holding its uptrend. I am also keeping a watch on CCC as it is a good sector (Water). best of luck to all!!!

CCC no volume so Im leaving that one alone until I see better volume come back. SDS order form filled and ready to punch out at a moments notice. Best wishes...
