I was not a day trader but this croock broker can kill you if you are not a real long term player.Some time people says i am long term player but check the stock every day or every hr.Then they fill the pain and get frustration.
Next week play ????I think CSIQ,SOLF, SOL , YGE MEE,JOYG, FWLT, UPL, V, BAC, JPM, RDN ,ABK ,DSX, NAT, kbr..... But i might go with AAPL.Looks very cheap . Downside 140 ,upside 175.
I have one request to you.If possible please list the important event for the next week which can effect the market.Such as PPI, JOB data, GS , MS result.....etc.This will help to your follower like me.
Not sure about your area, but here in ATL all retail gas jumped from $3.59 to $4.29 and higher. Reason - possible shortage from IKE. Some discount gas stations closed their pumps altogether, would not sell gas. One station was charging $5.25 per gallon one day after $3.59. One station limiting gas to 10 gallon sale. V is bouncing back from high 60's again. Have a great week.
Market Looking for RIMM to pop--giddy up baby Did you all see the action sin AG--my Monsanto up $15 for the week I would expect the GS will go up form here, way over sold, IMHO. SOL finally showed some green this week
THe mat lower interest rates next week, if so that could rally stimulate the market

Markets are very difficult...so any strategy which works is good.
As far as incorporating important ER & economic reports....
I try to do that in comments like Fed would draw the line in sand...which means fed meeting IS next week.
I try to keep the BLOG user friendly with focus on stocks which ARE moving.....
Yes GS is reporting on tuesday which IS an important event.....
Economic reports are mostly backward looking so do not spend too much time on it.
Yes AAPL is getting close to $145 support area.

No electricity in Houston....
