Hey Saleem,
Sold GMCR @ 74.00 based on analyst checks that sales were lower than expected in June (could be wrong but want to play it safe ahead of the quarter).
GMCR was only a 60% position and so used the proceeds to add to my half position in TEAR to round out position to full ($10.149 add price).

Hi Stocktrader,
GMCR was showing technical weakness.
Good luck with TEAR.

Hey Saleem,
Oh my, INVN really took off, 15.10 now. Guess I should have held two days longer...can't work all of them right...

Hi Stocktrader,
Golden cross works most of the time.
Now GMCR is showing some muscle.
BUT...we all face this unfortunately.

Hey Saleem,
That is definitely the problem with dealing in less-than-completely familiar stocks. The lack of total conviction makes you prone to less patience.
I'm not upset with the sells really--I sold for good reasons for me. I really do want to see these quarters first in INVN and GMCR, but for INVN especially I could have been a little more patient. For some reason I got it in my head they could preannounce any day after the bell...weird how one's head works sometimes.

Hi Stocktrader,
YES..our conclusions are misplaced sometimes....my being patient with BBRY has caused me grief also..but conviction is still forcing me to stay put.......

Hey Saleem,
I've considered purchasing SWC for days now. I'm worried about a potential writedown of their foreign assets, but now I've missed the good entry.
All these individual stock decisions I have to balance daily--they are all tiny constant nagging thoughts and I'm hard on myself to make the perfect choice. Thankfully I love stock picking and the portfolio has performed well. The key is to not dwelling on choices made, but to learn the lesson and move on. I'm not always perfect at this, but I keep improving! :)

Hi Stocktrader,
YES..we sometimes over-analyze or over-think......because market has been volatile in some sectors....like mines & metals......
BUT...as you said your stock picking & timing is SUPERB......
SO...enjoy some of the miss while you catch it again @ the right time or price.
