Shorts covered by hedgies... so market ended green $$$

Well Well Well.......

They still made money the old fashioned way....

Short first...if it does not work....Short more....when everyone panicks and sells... then cover.....

Who said wall street is not full of manipulation......yesterday & today was a classic example of high wire manipulation.......

The sad part is that most traders & investors get sucked into selling @ lows of the day.....

Please do the opposite alway's.....sell when hedgies are buying and buy when they are selling short......I know it is NOT easy...even I do not do as much as I should.......but still keep adjusting my portfolio with better stocks......It is a never ending process......

Even in this crazy week my portfolio ended UP 2.3%.......

It is all in $ allocation...and here is my $ allocation as of friday close....talk of transparency..this is the finest place to get it...I mean it in a sincere manner......

AAPL 21.9%
CMED 9.7%
RVBD 9.9%
SINA 5%
VMW 26%
RIMM 27.5%

By 10 AM on Sat I will be posting list of technically weak/strong & momentum stock.

Have a relaxing weekend.

BLOG does not give buy or sell.

Hello Saleem,

I have been following-up your blog for few weeks now and trying to understand the market.First, Thanks for sharing the information and knowledge on how to invest. I can definitely say that I gained lot of knowledge and insight of investing from your blog. I am curious why did you sell AMZN for a loss? AMZN is a retailer and in States 4th qtr is their best time of the year to generate revenue. Its holiday season and people will start spending money for gifts for families/friends/self. And the fed rate cut is supposed to do the same. Do you anticipate that AMZN will not make profits for 4th qtr or you are playing with this stock for short term?

HI Uma & Jack,

Thanks for your appreciation & feedback.

I sell stock @ loss because I find better use of my capital.

When a stock like AMZN show ongoing weakness...I need my money to start producing...so taking a loss is a very desireable option for me.

The idea is to make money with my investment....and not wait forever for AMZN to turnaround.
I do not fight the verdict of market even for a week.

AMZN could turnaround by december..but that is a long wait for my money to work.
